EDHEC Career Center for life invites you to participate to this webinar :
Discover your Ikigai to identify your career purpose

Since 2020, I see many executives that feel frustrated, unsatisfied and unfulfilled in their career journey. Many of them have no clarity on what their career purpose is, what is their career “destination” and therefore they don’t know which roads to take to get there. They need more meaning & purpose in their life & career. They want to recover balance, joy and positive energy. However, they don’t know how to find their career purpose because we were raised in a society, a work belief system where there is only place for performance and hard work. Everything else is secondary. And today we are facing for the first time three generations (Gen X, Y and Z) that want to live with a purpose. Actually, what they need is to shift their mindset and experience a new approach to life that integrates work (not the other way around).

In this Masterclass you will discover:

  • Why most people don’t have a purpose and keep working hard focusing mainly on work and “sacrifying” the other dimensions of their life?
  • Why the current work system is preventing us from achieving a deep sense of purpose at work?
  • IKIGAI, a Japanese model that helps us identify our life’s drivers and therefore uncover our life purpose and the related career purpose.
  • How to shift your mindset from “hard working” to “working with purpose” enjoying your career journey because you have created it consciously?

Goal

Understand how to identify your career purpose thanks to the IKIGAI tool to achieve more work-life balance and recover joy, positive energy and well-being.

Stakes

The labor market is undergoing a transformation, especially since the pandemic. This generates new challenges for many organizations and leaders. In a growing remote workplace, there is a strong need to adapt ways of working and corporate culture.

In this context, one of the biggest challenges is people's motivation and the urgent need to include a sense of purpose and meaning into their life & career journey.
