Résumé
Hi ! I'm Alexandre, a Computer Science student and Tech enjoyer.
I started programming with Python in high school, and never stopped since. I learnt by myself C# and how to use Unity, and discovered the joy of seeing a visual, interactible, result of my code.
Ever since I was a kid, I enjoyed video games as a leisure activity, as an artistic medium and as great tech catalysts. I started by playing them, but soon I realized making them could be much more interesting. I took my first step in that direction by learning how to use redstone and then command blocks in Minecraft. I started learning game development step by step, in parallel of an engineering/computer science curriculum.
I stay informed about the latest technical breakthroughs. I keep ethics and environment in mind when learning about these areas though. We have to answer ethical questions, more than ever, when developing technical products, especially in (generative) AI. Environment can no longer be forgotten when designing tech either. This raises very interesting challenges in a field where huge energy expense and rare ressources use are inevitable.
