Founded Air et Compagnie with Charles Clair who later made it into the largest private flying school in Paris, France, under its new name : Astonfly
This true success story started from scratch in a very competitive environment. Success was achieved through Charles’s long term vision and my early adoption of internet sales, which feeded the company very quickly with a strong influx of customers and allowed for wider opportunities. Acquisition partnerships later sustained a steady organic growth to reach critical size in record time.
Astonfly's vision continued after I joined British Airways, quickly expanding its fleet and taking the bold vision of training students on modern, glass cockpit aircraft.
Astonfly is now a full blown FTO, evolving in a state of the art hangar. It hosts and FNPT II Simulator, and leads its students all the way to the Air Transport Pilot Licence.
Astonfly offers both EASA and and FAR American licence qualifications, which is unique and enables students and aircraft owners to access multiple aspects of private flying, taking into account any potential restrictions.
Astonfly also moved vertically and offers aircraft purchase, registration, as well as handling for its clients.
